Role Overview 

As a .NET Developer at Project Tree, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications using the .NET ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clean, efficient, and well-documented technical solutions, ensuring timely delivery while upholding high-quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework (web, desktop, and mobile). 

• Build and consume secure, scalable RESTful Web APIs and microservice-based architectures. 

• Utilize Microsoft’s .NET infrastructure to create solutions aligned with client requirements. 

• Refactor and optimize existing code to maintain quality, performance, and maintainability standards. 

• Participate in code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and contribute to technical design discussions. 

• Write and optimize SQL/PostgreSQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions to ensure data integrity and performance. 

• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software meets quality and security benchmarks. 

• Deploy applications and monitor system performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders — product, design, and business teams — to deliver user-friendly and engaging outputs. 

• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues as they arise. 

• Stay current with emerging .NET technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Minimum 4+ years of professional software development experience in the .NET ecosystem using C#. 

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern .NET versions (6 / 7 / 8+). 

• Proven experience with ASP.NET Web API and ASP.NET MVC for building enterprise-grade web applications. 

• Solid experience with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including query optimisation and performance tuning. 

• Working knowledge of microservices architecture and API integration (including Amazon API Gateway). 

• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles. 

• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a self-driven, flexible, and innovative mindset.
