Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer at Project Tree, you will own the design lifecycle from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff. You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers to ensure our software is not only functional but visually compelling and easy to navigate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design: research, wireframing, UI design, and prototyping
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
• Create and maintain high-quality design systems and UI consistency
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve product experience
• Take ownership of features and mentor junior designers while driving design improvements
• Timely delivery of designs that align with business goals and user needs.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, IT, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Tooling: Expert proficiency in Figma (Required) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) and Agile workflows.
• Tech Literacy: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to understand the technical constraints of web design is a major plus.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear problem-solving process (from wireframes to final UI).

Soft Skills

• AI-Augmented Creativity: A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to leverage AI design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Midjourney) to enhance brainstorming and workflow efficiency.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate design “whys” to stakeholders and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
• Empathy & Advocacy: The ability to “step into the user’s shoes” and advocate for their needs during technical discussions.
