Role Overview
As a Manual Tester with 5+ years of experience, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end functional validation of our web and mobile applications. You are expected to go beyond basic testing; you will be responsible for complex requirement analysis, creating exhaustive test scenarios, and performing deep exploratory testing to ensure high-quality delivery. You will play a key role in test planning and risk-based validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Excellence: Analyze business requirements and technical specs to design and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Exploratory & Regression Testing: Perform rigorous functional, regression, and unscripted exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in test planning and estimation; implement a risk-based testing approach to prioritize critical features.
- Web Specialization: Ensure the high-quality delivery of complex web applications across various browsers and environments.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test case design and documentation.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise: 5+ years in Software Testing with a strong mastery of STLC, test case design techniques, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Core Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking and debugging skills; experience in end-to-end web application testing.
- Good to Have: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, JMeter, and testing in cloud-based environments.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills, works effectively in cross‑functional teams, and provides mentorship to junior QA engineers.
